That was brilliant, those Cape Verde players responded to absolutely everything Spain had. What a heroic performance.
The left CB completely dominated Yamal late in the game. He had the beating of the wing back but the CB (number 8) was on top of him immediately everytime.

What a magnificent game! Cape Verde team were wonderful. The Verde Goalkeeper is the hero of the match. To hold European champions and one of the favourites to win the tournament is phenomenal.
The whole team fought as if their lives depended on it. Borges defended magnificently.
This will be one the most memorable World Cup matches ever. First time representing their country, this Cape Verde team are heroes.
This is why I love the World Cup, not the location.

Just looked at the schedule. Effectively there is one day off between the start and the quarters. Effectively a game every day until the Quarter and even that has only one day off as does the semi finals.
