Partey’s legal case against Canada to obtain a visa has been dismissed. The law is absolutely clear, not sure what the ‘emergency’ would be - but having gone such a high profile route, the possibility of just getting a ministerial exemption is probably gone too.

Maybe slightly arrogant of me, but I will be a bit disappointed if we only win by a single goal and I demand a victory and 3 points in this game.
But of course, it is a cup, so it depends on the day and etc. Everyone can have a bad first game and get better during the tournament, but beating Iraq is really a requirement and the game have to look strange (odd things can happen ofc) for a draw to be okay.
Our group is after all very, very strong with France and Senegal, so victory is kind of required here…
Our qualification was awesome and we were probably among the best in the world in the qualifiers, but how good are we now in this tournament ? I am excited to see that answer in the coming games. Perhaps I will be very disappointed
