Sweden beat Tunisia 5-1 and they have an inferior team. It’s always nice to do better than Sweden. It would be rather terrible if Sweden advance from the group and we don’t. That will be painful. It would be nice to avoid that brotherly pain and beat the crap out of Sweden instead.

Yeah I think Europe has the same problem of kids not playing football as much
it´s just that our professional scene is better and academies.
Think back to the late 90s and early 2000s, great players at everywhere. Denmark, Romania, Bulgaria, Nigeria.
Hopefully it’s better than the Scotland game….or I’ll be half asleep.

Pretty sure (but please don’t blame me if not!) that there will be several goals in this game at least. Norway scores a lot these days, and maybe Iraq can get a goal or two as well (of course, I don’t want that to happen, haha)

I like this feeling.
The US should not be allowed to host the World Cup in the future. Not because of Trump, but the awful commercial breaks.
The drinking breaks are also thinly veiled commercial breaks since it is not so hot (and if there are drinking breaks, I expect to be allowed to watch them as well like in the past and not “pause-commercials”)

Like a few min ago. Ball to Haaland was very good, but reception not good enough and I suppose the Iraqi defenders did well

Ref is softer in this game than many of the previous ones. This free kick to Iraq was cheap. I dislike it when physicality is punished and always prefer a high bar.
Yeah it’s been refreshing to see this tournament in fact bar the penalty in the last game I would say on field has been good.

Agreed. I loved to see the high bar in some of the previous games. As long as it is consistent, I absolutely adore that.
This ref has unfortunately clearly a lower bar, but still very early.
By the way, not the best openeing for Norway. Pretty bad cohesion and Iraq is probably very happy and have played well (for them, they are a weaker team).
But only 11 min and a Free Kick now…
Disappointing start though
Too imprecise ! We have been so precise in the passing and final ball in the qualification, but not so far in this game.
The rythm is off. Disjointed, lack of fluidity. Not good enough so far.
