Was it offside?
Offside player in the keeperâs line of sight according to the commentators. The scorer was on.
Netherlands bailed out there. The keeper wasnât getting to it regardless.

Itâs a rough one. Normally âline of sightâ is judged as the line between where the ball was struck from to the keeper, not the path the ball took to go in. Had the goalie tried to save it the player would have been in his way, but he wasnt in the way of the goalie seeing the shot being made, which is normally how theyâd judge it. I hadnt read that they were using a different interpretation for this tournament so will be interested to see Dale Johnsonâs review of it.
