Didn’t watch all of either game, but just caught up on highlights, and Dutch look significantly better than Argentinans.

They sure gave a good account of themselves.
Only lost by a goal, and 1 of those goals came by Ryan trying to be like Ali.
And the 2 chances they had to make it 2-2 with Behrich and that 18 year old.
Not to say Argentina didn’t have their chances as well but if you compare Australia’s performance to Poland’s or Mexico’s…

It seemed clear to me that Argentina did the bare minimum they had to. I wouldn’t read too much into the performance level. They advanced, which is what they set out to do. I’m not sure it will tell us an awful lot about how they will play against the Netherlands.
