The ref was horrible. If it wasnât for VAR he wouldnât have given obvious pens.

Havenât seen comments since half time. Dodgy ref, missed so much. Many fouls on Saka not given, a few on Bellingham too.
Kane poor penalty, miles over the bar.
Maguire needed to defend Giroud and didnât stop their second.
Subs too late. Needed to see Grealish and Rashford much earlier.
Close game, I felt England had enough to win it, but it wasnât to be.

England were the better team. It was close, but ref let a lot of fouls go, including a penalty in first half, and obviously Kane missed another penalty.
On the balance of play and chances created, England edged it.
Subs too late. Ref was poor.
And that was that.

Thereâs no excuse for that refereeing performance. Penalty not given in the first half alone. Clear fouls not given.

Canât give penalties for fouls outside the box. Take the rose tinted glasses off.
Wonder how refs like these get such high profile games. This one and the one from yesterday that was handing out yellows like they were Christmas cards.
