Japan don’t have a bad side at all, seem to have players all over most notably in Germany but also Scotland England Belgium Spain and France.

Only issue with having the option to play Kehrer there is that he’s worst than Sule.
& Sule brings the much added height advantage to this German side and set pieces could prove to be the difference here as the Japanese are usually 1 of the smaller sides in these competitions.
Why not stick a right sided midfielder there? Surely there has to be a few of those knocking around in Deutscheland

Other than Sule, Kehrer, Ginter and Hofmann (more of a “winger” option) can play there.
But Germany build up with 3 at the back in possession, so Sule is not a strict RB in all phases of the game.
Klostermann too, none of them athletic enough to nail down the position.
Think they even played with Emre there at 1 point, maybe Jerome Boeteng too.
Honestly since Lahm they’ve not had an out and out RB.
