So a creative team player stat I guess.

The stats boffins keep coming up with them all.

Whatever, I rate the guy and this is just the start.

He , Dom and Ekitike have been just about the only bright spots this season.

I suspect next season will be better for the entire team as such.

You can’t do wholesale changes to the team in a very short time and still make sure they perform.

Just an idea.

Could we drop Flo in as the deep-lying playmaker? That way we fix the issue with the defence -midfield L ball progression.

Flo has the quick feet and turns plus the passing range to do it.

Then we could have Grav and Dom as the high energy box to box types.

Too lightweight and he plays higher risk passes which will get intercepted when they don’t come off.

Next, people will demand that he make tackles, or complain that he doesn’t
oh, we’ve been there, done that. I see that many still haven’t grasped what kind of player Flo is, but whatever

I think from stats he is quite high up in pressures and winning the ball back already, but he ain’t what I think of as a ‘tackler’

As my son keeps telling me 'your forum is old English men that think like old English men .

Yes, exactly, but if you follow the in-game match thread, some people still haven’t grasped that. Or they thought he was a completely different player profile and are now disappointed that he doesn’t play the way they expected. Anyway, it’s strange.

Yes, I understand that, but if I try to make a rough comparison, would that have been expected of, for example, Coutinho back then?

Did everyone complain that he was “too lightweight” etc., or was it simply more easily accepted because he was Brazilian and not German?

Totally agree, he is a player I love watching, brilliantly inventive and links play, especially when we have good off the ball movement, which is what we seem to lack, whether that is individual player intelligence or Arne’s coaching, who knowsbut most will make the same guess :winking_face_with_tongue:

Now that you mention it, what am I even doing here?:sweat_smile:
