There are two other examples I can think of. Le Tallec and Pongolle came from Le Havre in 2003. Most people probably dont even remember Alex Manninger but he came from Augsburg the same summer as Klavan.

Slightly different, but under Rafa three times we went back to a club in January to get someone after having bought someone from them in the summer (Nunez and Morientes from Real, Reina and Kromkamp from Villareal, and Yossi and Masch from West Ham)

You made me trawl through our previous transfers, which came up with another interesting gem. We once took another player from Leverkusen, whom Bayern Munich was interested in – Emre Can.
