On the verge of the price rise on NOW Tv I always go through the website and they reduce it I’ve been there ages though so if it works for others I don’t know.
They’ve reduced it until June 2024 
I can’t see them budging on the 3pm Saturday kick offs being shown live in the UK,they’ve already made changes to the fixture list to televise on other days of the week plus kick offs early/late on Saturday and Sundays.
The 3pm games are historically THE game of the week for the working man to go and watch the match at the stadium,the reason its never changed is because its felt that attendances would suffer and every ground would look like Man Cities Emptyhad on the tv,which isnt a good look for the Premier League.
And yet it’s down to the FL, if that’s the only game shown at 3pm then it would be unlikely to affect attendances.
It will end up going or the PL will end up all over the weekend. 3pm on a Saturday only exists due to the working times of the factory and even that’s slightly incorrect as most games in the early days kicked off earlier in the winter due to the fact that if they had kicked off at 3pm they’d be playing in darkness for about 4 months.
2pm is an average kick off time in the FA amateur leagues and ironically was probably closer to the time of most games in the professional leagues. Who knows when it moved to 3pm but I’ve got my doubts that it could have been pre war.
Strangely says 3pm there but I read a book about northern football that contradicts that and it just wouldn’t be possible especially in the December as it’s dark by about 4pm.
I assume they kicked off whenever there was enough of a crowd.

We moan nowadays if there’s too much additional time added on. 
You know what I mean.
I’m actually intrigued by this now as Sunset in the middle of November is 4.15 so it’s probably quite dark by about 4.30, it doesn’t get back to that time til Jan 15th so effectively 2 months and that’s Liverpool which is on the west side.
Kick offs must have been earlier in those months.
