For me, he was useful for a couple of years but declining steadily in later years. Still he strikes me as the kind of guy who would keep himself fit and was/is still playing for his local side, so fair enough.

Yeah, he was CB when I first started watching Liverpool. A lovable shirt puller, for sure. Maybe Carragher is busy today.
