Agents from the Church of Biscan have been dispatched to your location, to initiate the reeducation protocol. Remain where you are. Do not be alarmed.

Might just be me looking without my glasses on…

The picture looks like an e-fit image, 50% Stevie G and 50% Jordan Henderson…!
So it must be Igor Biscan eh…

Agger would have been immense under Klopp. All the characteristics Klopp needs in a CB.

He was immense anyway. Fit and on form, he was right up there with the best CBs we’ve ever had.

I know he has a fan base but I get the feeling he doesn’t get the appreciation he deserves even amongst some Liverpool fans (I’ve seen some rate Skrtel higher) let alone neutral fans. If injuries hadn’t been such a bitch to him and maybe in a style of play that got to highlight how special he was more I think he’d be considered one of the best in the Premier League era. As it is most football fans wouldn’t even have him in their top twenties. And that is not an accurate reflection of his ability.

Once a red always a red :+1:

Even our own @Mascot thinks Sakho was better than Agger (when Sakho was with us).

Agger was made of glass except for 1.5 season, when he was one of the best CB in Europe. But even during that time he had to take so many pills to forget pain and play. @ZinedineBiscan posted an article where Agger himself told us about his addiction to pills.

Had YNWA tatooted in his knuckles and is a red through and through. One of my favorites.

His injuries are not his abilities though. In skill and ability he was right up there with VvD. The system under Rafa was so good that a good CB kind of got lost a little bit but we were always better when he was in. I know we always performed way better with him in the line up than without him in the line up in the years after Rafa. He usually had to partner Skrtel though and without the rigid system of Rafa Skrtel was a liability who shouldn’t have stayed with us so long. Between Rafa and Klopp the best 6 months we had defensively was with Carra and Agger as our CB pair.

Have a lot of time for Agger. A more vocal Matip in terms of anticipation and ball playing skills , and wasn’t afraid of tackling when needed as well. In short, yeah he was a Virgil.

Eye opening article on Craig Johnson, a player I remember well without really knowing anything of his story before and after Liverpool.
