Former players and managers - general discussion

Maybe not, but likely better than Joris Jarius.

Moris Marius laughs at this.

Noris Narius might cry over it.

As long as Boris Barius gets moved on I am ok with it

Zoris Zarius must be yawning over this.

You missed out his middle name, Zephenia.

ZZZ to his matesā€¦ which sums up this thread nicely.

Wouldā€™ve preferred to see him smile there on the left, heā€™s a beautiful man when he smiles!

But maybe it has another deeper meaningā€¦

Looks like he just got booted in the gob by the smaller Barnes

Thatā€™s fantastic. Fully deserving of it too. Probably the best player I saw live, he was a master of the football. My favourite Liverpool player of all time.

15 league goals his first season as a winger was absolutely revolutionary for its time. He was obviously given the licence to play a more expansive role than he had been as a pure winger before he joined us, but it was still a million miles away from the modern approach of setting your team up to facilitate goals coming from your wide forwards. As a stand alone season I dont think it gets the credit it deserves, especially when you consider how many of Aldoā€™s 20+ goals likely came from him, many directly from his wing play.
