Phil Coutinho through transfer fee, gave Liverpool much more than Trent as a player?
Is Trent now in the collection of ex players (in order):
- Trent
- McManaman
- Owen.
FFS, all to RM on a free, all through our academy, just realized that.
Yeah, but we pinched Gerardo Bruna from them.
We received ~8m pounds (plus Nunez?) for Mickey. The white gobshites then tried to flog him back to us for ~16m the next summer
If Coutinho’s contract was ending he would have walked out for free without a second thought. He refused to play for us and threw strops until he got his way. The fact we negotiated a good fee and spent that money well is not a positive to Coutinho - its a positive to Edwards and the recruitment team.
Jerzy Dudek:face_holding_back_tears:. As King Kenny said " you may leave Liverpool, but Liverpool will never leave you".

This is Joe Gomez erasure!!!
It was Big Ron when I started supporting the Reds but Tommy Smith when I started going regularly.
Really? You’re my vintage? I always had you down as a whippersnapper. Apologies Leggy, I’ll stop being so disrespectful
Emlyn Hughes for me. God I’m getting old.
COG says hi.
Not that old
Ian Rush was just interviewed on ITV Racing, as he’s at Chester races today.
When asked if he was worried about Mo overtaking his goals tally for the club, Rushie answered that records are there to be broken. He also reported that Mo said to him that they must have counted Rushie’s goals in training when coming up with his total!
Salah trying to figure out how to get his contract extended for another 4 seasons…
Makes out they’ve died.
ALEX RAISBECK. Liverpool and Scotland (In his brilliant Scotland jersey) . We now have 20 top division titles. Here’s the first REDS Captain to lift that title trophy.
In 1901, Liverpool were crowned League Champions for the very first time, only 9 years after the club was formed.
In just their 6th season in the First Division, John Houlding’s Reds were crowned champions of England, making up for the heartbreaking second-place finish in 1898/99. Its like we were saying - We always seem to win trophies with Scots in the side??
Wonder if we’ve ever won it without one and if Robbo leaves can McAllister be adopted as one.
I thought he was of Irish heritage, not Scottish?
Born in Wallacestone, near Falkirk. I had a friend who lived near there.
