Stevie just… doesn’t stop talking. Other two couldn’t get in.

He has evolved with time.

We won’t be back on our perch until we reach 21 titles… assuming we get there before United.

This time next year, hopefully.

Don’t like his political views.

But he won’t be the first Liverpool player to have right wing views.

Can’t deny his importance to the club. If only Brendan kept him on , he could have filled the gap quite effectively till the coming of Alisson.

And he’s had a great career almost entirely with the first divisions of all the countries he’s played in.

Was never going to happen, he was earning too much money and noticeably declining.

Mignolet was shite though.

Was still better than mignolet karius combined. Easily.

Liking Xabi less after hearing him with this charade. Real do infect and corrupt don’t they?

" first day in a new job – just 24 hours – or so he claimed – after he was told it was his.
Alonso’s appointment has been an open secret for weeks but Real had waited until the day after to announce his arrival. The following morning, there he was, keen to keep up the illusion. Alonso had been able to watch and analyse Real’s games, which must have taken some time, yet asked when he found out, he said: “Yesterday, when I saw the statement. It was evident then. How could I not find out?”

Milner looking to have one more season after a horrendous knee op and perhaps break the PL appearance record?

The 39-year-old Brighton midfielder made an emotional comeback as a late substitute at Tottenham on Sunday after nine months out – it took him to 638 Premier League appearances; Gareth Barry holds the competition record with 653.

I didn’t know whether I could walk properly again let alone play football. I don’t think many people would have come back from this.

What a physical specimen. It will be a travesty if he doesn’t stick with football in some coaching role. Imagine him as a fitness coach!

He was before my time but he was replaced by Emlyn Hughes in the team. I think Ron Yeats signed him for Tranmere as well.

One of my early heroes. RIP… Willie. Thanks for the memories.

Maybe only Cally and Chris Lawler left of that great 60s team… + Gordon Milne

I’ll only be happy if Lijnders goes in as the number one!

As a coach he’s good. As a number one, not so much. I’d be fine if he was their new Pep.

Kolo. Kolo. Kolo. Why?
