Not sure they will be looking to bring Kolo in as the brains…!

That’s why Slot is churning the playing staff so Pep Ljinders can’t give any inside tips.

Always underwhelmed by ‘pep’; if he goes to cheaty that confirms he’s a wrong un

Why? He’s an ex-City player after all.

Outstanding business to get 10m from RM for Trent.

Super random but I’m pretty sure Jon Flanagan is sitting a few rows over in my train back to London…unless it’s someone who looks exactly like him (not impossible lol).

Has he

a) got a semi?
b) look like he’s about to hit the nearest woman?

The two may or may not be related.

Lol think he’s on his own, I wasn’t trying to gawk. Back in 2012 when they were on tour in Boston I finagled a press pass (college journalism lol) and went in the VIP entrance at Fenway and met his dad in the elevator, casually just went “my son plays for Liverpool.” Nice enough guy, the dad.

That game was most memorable for me finagling my way into Brenda’s presser where he sounded very convincing. It’s too bad he’s a football manager because he’s a brilliant bullshitter, but I guess you can be both!

It’s pretty unlikely that something like that happens twice though

This is weird, we have to change our passwords and things like that. :exploding_head:

Always felt there was something off about him.

Might get along better with Guardiola than with Klopp, football speaking.

Maybe Pep G was impressed with the amount of time his book mentioned Rabonas.

Can’t wait for Milly’s book, where there will be more mention of Ribena than rabonas.

On the plus side his next book will be easy to write. “Money: the Cheaty Way”

I’ll rib him for going, but the man’s tried twice to stand as a manager and not succeeded. He’s got a proven track record as a quality number 2. Makes sense that he’d take the opportunity to get back into football at a high level as a number 2.

He probably thinks being near Pep will give him another chance of being a manager at another club later.

But then some coaches aren’t meant to be head coach material.
