Celtic immediately? I guess okay, he will still be close and maybe win a few trophies domestically, but I thought heā€™d take a break with his family on the Wirral and just monitor to see what opens up in the PL. Must say that I havenā€™t always been impressed by his decisions which side to take over at which times. Weā€™ll see if he manages to make them dominant enough on the pitch.

Yes. His timing of taking up Inter and Real jobs were entirely horrible.

Kevin Stewart signs for Blackpool until the summer of 2022.

i heard the rumours about Rafa lsst night, via a couple of mates who support the Celts.

I thought that they tripping or something, Rafa to Celtic, cā€™monā€¦

IMO though, i dont think Scottich football is ready for someone like Rafa,
as its too basic, in terms of tactics and technical abilities.

Rafa will have to do a lot adapting.

Rafa against Gerrard? That should be fun.

Wait until he sees his transfer kitty 2.5m , I donā€™t believe he will go there.

Dortmund are looking for a manager in the summer (if not earlier) but they are probably too small-minded to consider someone like Rafa.

I donā€™t think they are too small minded. In terms of football, that should attract someone like Rafa where heā€™s at now. But his priority is to be closer to his family if he can. China was already a sign that heā€™s not wanted like he used to be. Money must have played a big part to go so far for at least a shorter while. Letā€™s be honest here, Rafa is in decline in last years. Itā€™s not the same situation like leaving Valencia or Liverpool. Plus a few years afterwards. Heā€™s still good of course, but there are many factors there. Itā€™s not just look at someoneā€™s CV, see how many titles and where, bang thatā€™s the right choice. Specifically for Germany and how managers/coaches work these days, I think the language barrier is quite important. I think thatā€™s the biggest thing for Klopp when he said he hardly sees himself working in Spain or Italy. If he had the language aspect (which of course, you can work on, Pep took a year off in New York and learning German), I live under no illusions that heā€™d accept some of the worldā€™s (other) biggest clubs.

Not that he ( Guillem Balague) knows a lot, but here goes,

If he did opt for Celticā€¦ What better spot light and launch pad to have than this, to eventually head back to Anfield after spanking Stevieā€™s Rangers every yearā€¦!

Rafa hasnā€™t spanked anyone since leaving Anfield :sunglasses:

What a great answer! :joy:
I learned a long time ago, from my Scouse auntieā€™s family, never get into an argument or debate with Scousers, they always win with their words.

That kind of makes me laugh, he is looking you return to management like the job he had wasnā€™t.
