What a signing for WBA.
They get a better defender than Slabhead for 3m.

I hope that he will go on to have a top coaching career. Wonderfully talented football player, an amazing professional - and ultimately extremely unlucky with injuries. Still, he won it all with Liverpool and thatâs what counts.
Not sure about this bit but yeah hope it works out for him

I didnât know about this, this is actually a great little story about him.
Happy 65th birthday to an Aussie football icon and Red legend, Craig Johnston. The mad inventor himself.
Yeah happy birthday @Bekloppt
Not to mention: musician, rapper, TV producer, all round good guy and very much a renaissance man.
I think he is part of the reason that I enjoy wingers, seeing him accelerate down the right hand side and scoop the ball into the middle.
You what?
Weâre talking about Nat Phillips, right?
⌠and wonderful heading technique.

No. If you checked the Instagram link, that wonderfully talented football player comment was about Lallana.
Best substitutions in LFC history?
We have two famous 3-1 wins in the CL with both come backs driven by subs.
Against St Ettiene in 77 Fairclough scored the needed third about 10 mins after coming on for Toshak.
Against Olympiacos in 04-05 both Pongolle (scored a minute or so after coming an at half time) and Mellor (the perfect knock down for Gerrard on the third) came off the bench to make game defining contributions.

Iâm glad they clarified the former Utd midlfielder, not the former Liverpool midfielder!
Danny Ward has a medical with Wrexham today and Iâm guessing he doesnt join as first choice for them
I always thought he was a pretty decent keeper but obviously couldnât quite make it work. Or my ability to judge goalkeepers is way off.
Wasnât he the player caught leaking team line ups before we sold him?

He moved to Leicester from us and couldnât replace Kasper Schmeichel. He moved after we signed Alisson, but the fact that he couldnât replace any of our middling keepers before that should have indicated that he wasnât going to replace a better keeper there.
I think he has actually played more games for Wales than he has for any club he was actually signed to.

Honestly Iâve no idea on that. Not great if true.

Yeah, which is where my judgement comes in, or lack of, possibly clouded by national loyalties too.
