Good luck to Andy Carroll.
Obviously on the whole he was a poor signing for us, but I still remember some games where he was almost unplayable. The memory fades a bit, and maybe we get kinder as it does, but I thought he was unlucky with injuries.
He was unlucky with injuries in the way someone who doesn’t take their responsibilities as a professional can be “unlucky”. Not just in style, but in terms of attitude to the game I think he was 10 years too late.

Carroll was what a benteke was , what a balotelli was… An abject failure of a transfer.
Atleast we got good money for benteke. But he didn’t suit our style at all.
Just don’t know what the thought process behind balotelli was. Fucking shirked when tackled down the wings. Absolutely abysmal.
