On 29 June 1944 Bill Shankly married his beloved Agnes ‘Nessie’ Fisher. They were married for 37 years until Bill’s death. Nessie passed away in August 2002

I’ve seen some matches that Ward played well. But those were matches for Wales.
He was absolutely dire in Leicester. Liverpool did very well getting 12m for him.
