Former players and managers - general discussion

Fair point.

Agreed. Their sport coverage is abysmal, anything remotely political is totally biased (which is always bad from a national ā€˜public service’ broadcaster, whatever your political views - please, let’s not go there though) and they bully the whole country into paying for it whether we want to use their service or not! Sorry, rant over!

Came across this the other day,

Took me a while to realise who it is…

Wow, that hits different.

Sammy Lee tells that Rafa told him in their first weeks of working together: ā€œyou’re the only person I know who speaks two languages badly.ā€

Sorry about the Echo link, but it looks like Ian Rush has spent some time in hospital with flu related breathing problems. Hopefully, he is past the worst of it.

There are some people on that I don’t think I’d get right with 10 guesses

Far left I assume is Mellor and I think the guy behind Aldo is Mark Walters. But I have no idea who the two are in the back row between them, or the guy on the other side of (assumed) Walter’s is. Also the guy on the other end in the flat cap.

Michael Thomas and Howard Gayle (flat cap).

Whos the guy in the middle front row in front of Barnes?

Sean Dundee I think

How can Mellor be in there? He only played a couple of games didn’t he?
