I think I must have seen this guy play live, but I have literally no memory of him at all. First Hungarian in the Premier league., so a trailblazer for Szoboszlai and Kerkez.
Interestingly, Istvan Kozma was also the name of a Hungarian wrestler. I assume that was who Souness thought he was signing.

Ah, John Toshack. I remember him.
At one time, after his playing days, he was considered as a potential LFC manager.
He took a modest Swansea side all the way up through the divisions and had them competing at the top end. He went on to do very well in Spain too. I think he would have been a really good Liverpool manager but the stars didnât align.

He would have been available as well, as he had left Real Madrid two months before Kenny resigned.
I was there that night and it was the most scared for my safety I have ever been. This is of course not what happened at Hillsborough but that night the ground must have had 60+ thousand inside and probably half were scousers. The stewards just gave up as they were getting mobbed by our fans climbing over the turnstiles. I was in a massive scrum outside trying to get to my area of the ground when a huge wooden gate by me gave way and everyone poured in. I managed to stay on my feet somehow but lots didnât. It was a massive crush inside with loads of our fans climbing up the floodlight pylons to get a better view.
I wasnât proud of the behaviour of our fans that night but that was the 1970s football experience.

If this is true then what are we all stressing about? Next season will so much better so chill everyone with the over the top criticism of players and manager..

Interesting that from an inside and outside perspective, they generally looked like they were enjoying themselves the last two games so we will see I guess.
Also someone mentioned an expert saying this stuff can take 5 to 6 months to settle which is about now, we will know in a month or two I guess.
I was there that day and just outside as the gate gave way. I really thought Iâd be injured that night. Iâm only small and loads of big tall fans were all around me.
When the gate went in I climbed underneath it. There was a police woman there and she just made sure I was away from the crowd and sent me to the away end.
What an experience, us up for the Title and Wolves trying to hold off relegation.
We went down and back on the A41. The M6 was held up for ages.
