Is it Peter Withe?
Yay⌠trick question of sorts, but well done ![]()
That was a good one. Got the old grey cells working.
I knew Iâd seen that face beforeâŚ
I was on the other side of that gate when it opened. I ran like hell.
Believe it or not, I was there on what could be called a school trip. Some teachers had hired a mini bus and asked us if we wanted to go with them. My dadâs business partner got in by climbing through a window in one of the toilets. As with the gates, someone had opened it from the inside.
This could be posted in the Slotâs thread.
An ex-player saying the Slotâs âtrustâ issue. If itâs under other circumstances, I would have just brushed it off about an ex not particularly happy that he got casted off (also there are some on here do not believe Morton to be a starter here anyway)âŚHowever, the evidences are in front of us on Slot favouritism in the guise of trust. Jarell Quansah didnât even want to mention Slotâs name in one of his interview.
There may be former Slotâs players praising him on becoming a better players under his guidanceâŚbut so far, I have not really heard (then again, perhaps I did not look hard enough with my current bias against him) any players left LFC after Slot took over as coach said how great he has been for them.
Morton played really well in that cup match.
When Slot mentioned that only one player showed future prospects I was sure it was him and we never saw him again.
Quite a loss for us imo.
Sterling has joined Feyenoord
Trent!
Gerrard
Wonder what kind of severance package he got with the Spuds for just more than a month.
Just cross-posting as i thought this may be of interest.
I donât know if you can access Facebook, but hereâs the highlights:
Must have made a fair bit this season already.
Perhaps Sterlingâs departure one of the most impactful thing that happened to us over the last 10 years. Mane and Salah, at least one of them might have never joined us had he stayed, either case would have been a big loss. On the other hand, we can never know how Sterling would have developed under Klopp.
For me definitely Gerrard. All of them scored some beauties but the power with how Gerrard drives home his goals, gave me that rush that probably is unique to a Gerrard goal
Perhaps not the most impactful, but yeah I believe Klopp wouldâve loved Sterling to be there when he took over. We were crying out for wingers and pace on the sides. Ibe got his chance as a result of it and got sold quickly, not up to the level needed. I believe Sterling wouldâve developed pretty nicely under Klopp and we wouldâve signed a few of the players (or that type) we signed regardless, as it turned out it was always the plane to have such wingers or wide forwards.
