Former players and managers - general discussion

Liverpool Best Hair XI - first draft:

James;
Johnson, VVD, Hansen, Moreno;
Yossi, Can, Berger;
Carroll, Keegan, Torres.

I’m sure others can suggest further improvements…

Not sure why you have Moreno in there but not Bobby.

Lallana had some nice haircuts.

Kyrgiakos?

All good points. Tried to make it a formation but Lala could possibly squeeze in there but would have to drop a forward. Kyrgiakos could replace Hansen (his hair wasnt that long for the era) and could add Adam Lala in and drop Keegan (great hair) and really Allison over James too to make it a more contemporary team:

Allison;
Johnson, VVD, Kyrgiakos, Moreno;
Yossi, Can, Lallana, Berger;
Carroll, Torres.

With Shaq on the bench, despite his best efforts.

He scored against the bitters at Wembley.

Have to have Souey with his perm in there!

No Harvey Elliott with his top knot?

"Torus is also working with the Professional Footballers’ Association to explore options including supported housing at Melwood for ex-footballers with dementia and other care needs.

PFA chief executive Gordon Taylor, on behalf of the PFA Charity, said: “We are pleased to support this project in principle, with particular regard to looking after those of our former members in need. We hope Melwood could become a national blueprint for such supported housing projects.”

Thanks @Livvy

It’s really great to know that Melwood will continue with it’s rich tradition of nurturing young footballers. A big hand to all those involved.

I just remembered that Peter Crouch played for us. I really can’t believe that some players were ever Reds. Craig Bellamy, Joe Cole and that bellend Balotelli for example.
Crouch wasn’t bad, but he always seemed more of a Southampton or Stoke player.

I quite liked Bellamy and Crouch scored plenty of goals for us.

I remember a newspaper had Crouch, Bellamy and Kuyt on the back page with the headline “Winning Ugly”

Joe Cole our worst free signing ever.

I was a huge fan of Bellers. Think Bellamy in his prime under Klopp would be a sensational combination.

Bellamy was the type you’d hate if he was on the opposing team. He was good, if a bit mad.

I remember all of them scoring around 35 goals each on my FM07 save, which lead to me winning the league and signing an extremely injury-prone Lionel Messi after two or three seasons!
