That wouldnât surprise me. I had that as a possible scenario in my head when we signed him. Especially if Mama wouldnât want to be backup for successive seasons. Still played 20 games though. I thought if Alisson does stay until 2027, in the second season, if Mama doesnât impress that much, we might loan him out for him to get many games somewhere as first choice. Iâd like it to be a club playing a European competition, if not in the PL. Weâd have to see if it would be a cheap experienced backup, someone like Jaros or buying someone (I saw Roefs was linked).
