Koepka be lucky to finish top 3 the way things are going.
I fancy Scheffler to post a score for the rest to make sure they don’t fall below.
Put a sneaky bet on Henley outside of Rahm seems like it’s not a bad one.

Jon Rahm is by far one of the consistently best players currently.
His swing is so fast. Amazing he controls that so well.
I can do that too … , oh wait
Me, too. With my air swing. Like air guitar I can play all the Iron Maiden leads.
Quite the final round by Rahm. Great course management. Hit one bad shot.
Well deserved win.
Have to say, very gracious congratulations from Koepka.
A nice afternoon’s viewing. John Rahm played very well. He has tended to do well at Augusta in his Masters appearances so far, and it felt only a matter of time until he won.
He didn’t put a foot wrong all day, until he had a large margin and hit a wayward tee shot on 18. Even then, he ended up making par.
Great driving and great course management. A very worthy champion.
I fairly openly hoped the LIV guys would bomb but the performances of Phil and Koepka really are a Rorschach test.
Especially for BK, there is a really good argument that LIV, both its 54 hole format and its lack of compeitiveness, is what contributed to his inability to keep it together in the final round.
The flip side is he went to LIV because he was physically fucked. The less intense schedule, the overall reduction in golf he’s been pressured to play, and the financial freedom he now likely feels is likely what enabled him to get his body back into a position where he could shoot a 54 hole total in the first place. Likewise with Phil (someone who shouldnt have money concerns but seemingly does).
I think there is enough from what happened for both camps to think the Masters supported their case.
With Mickelson it’s a course he always seems to perform so be interesting to see what he does in the other Majors.
Rahm deserved it, the guys hardly dropped form this season even if he doesn’t quite win.

Yes, and he along with the dozen or so who finished within 5 shots of 2nd place kind of dispel the BS 54 holes versus tiredness reasons for leaving the main tour.
LIV is the best.
Adelaide is going off. Huge galleries and atmosphere. Mind you they probably would if the PGA held an event.
The point of difference I like is the shotgun start though. Perfect for TV and no wasted time while some player spends to much time thinking about the shot. And the big guns are off right from the start.
I think the fact you cant find a TV channel to watch this on speaks volumes.
May change obviously, but right now not looking likely.
It really isn’t
For as good as Sky is for golf coverage generally, the coverage of the LPGA Chevron Championship is fucking awful.

I watched a handful of their events last year when there was nothing else on, haven’t watched any so far this year. Must say, found it a breath of fresh air to just go to YouTube and watch it in UHD with no ad breaks and all completely free of charge. Though I did miss Sarah Stirk.
I definitely think there is room to accommodate a less stuffy approach to golf that LIV is trying to develop. Golf already understands this, it just hasnt figured out how to use it. It is a large part of what makes the Ryder Cup so great, with the back and forth between Rory and Reed and their respective fan bases last time out one for best examples of how it can be add to the competition. The PGA also has a couple of events that are known for their rowdy atmosphere (The Waste Management in Phoenix in particular) and those events are well regarded. But I think these work because they are the exception. Players appreciate the Waste Management because its at the beginning of the season before things get important and once they’re done they go back to traditional respectful golf.
The fact it has now been selected as one of the higher purse Designated events, one of the PGA’s tricks to compete with LIV, is relevant. We’ll see how standards of behavior change there now the purse is tippled. Teeing off soaking in beer thrown from the stands, with Oles echoing from the grandstand behind you hits different when the winning purse is near 4 million.
I had an old boss that used to ask potential new starts at an interview, if they had any hobbies or such like. Years later we discovered that if anyone mentioned they played Golf, they would never get offered a position in the company… Apparently, he had said, "you can never get those f*ers to work at weekends when you need them"…!
I know quite a few that play the game, and I feel it is a passion that can take over your life, if you are not careful though.
