The love for Villa’s unexpected success seems a little misplaced when you realize they have been under PSR stress for about 6 of the last 7 seasons.

Villa pretty active in this window since that Emery interview post-Everton. I know they had some injuries as well.
4 players in (3 bought, 1 recalled from loan) + in talks to bring back Luiz on loan as well.
