A pet peeve of mine was cyclists using my car as a balancing implement. It’s such a common thing that Fiat made an ad about it.

Got a new telly yesterday. Setting it up involved connecting it to my Google account. Why? Turns out Google still thought I lived in Germany, so I had to change that, the tv still thought I was in Germany. Then the internet had a strop. A load of tech palaver for what? So we can be spied on and sent ads for things tangentially connected to a search I once did.
In the old days you got a telly, switched it on, fiddled with the aerial and gave it a kick.
Mind you, there was that thing where the picture would roll up and down. Mate of mine put an ashtray on top of the telly and swore it held the picture in place.
Where was I? Oh yes, it’s all gone too far with this technical nonsense. Supposed to make life easier and does the exact opposite.

No kids that I’m aware of. Luckily the Missus is a tech whiz.
My point stands. You should be able to switch on a telly without the help of Generation Z.
Not sure why this exists when every other thread is a moan fest.

Thank you, you made me feel young as I didn’t know who Jimmy Clitheroe was. 
If it was helium, i can only imagine that the in car conversation came across something similar to Jimmy Clitheroe, Joe Pesci and all 3 of the Chipmunks having a heated conversation about whether Jaffa cakes are actually a biscuit.

So funny, you have literally just nailed the whole discomfort of swimming. Throw in the awkward pacing of your swim so that you don’t end up face planting the swimmer infront of you’s backside, and the uncomfortable moment when your swimming action accidentally gets involved in a swimmer going the other way.
