Nothing springs to mind to be honest. Best of luck with the sale.
It’s a nice guitar. Cross fingers.
Just bought a Boss GE7 EQ pedal as the next installment.
Also spent an hour watching a lick library dvd last night with the guitar. Some useful insights.
Currently has 10 watchers. Stop watching and get buying.
Saw another 2nd hand one online for £749 so this is a good deal.
put extra pictures for them to see every angle close up…
Might work to speed up the sale
So when that goes what have you set your eye on next?
Dunno yet. Like the look of that Cort though in Black.
Im not allowed to pre-order though until this one has sold according to the wife!

Rejected an offer of £400.
This is a bad idea, its just been sold on Ebay, to you. Huge loss alert. You’ll have to own it for a while, or take the hit.
Get an Epiphone Les Paul and do as we tell you this time?!
Poor poor Charvel. Nobody loves her
It was sold to me via Facebook marketplace.
Might be a saving for you hopefully.
What about a HSS Strat, it worked for Yngwie and Ritchie, and David…I think the classic guitars, the archetypal trio of Les, Strat and Tele arent just there for reasons of aesthetics and history, they’re also all shit-hot. Metallica was a Les Paul and Alice in Chains…a brutal guitar when overdriven or distorted.
I’ve had a question asking has the guitar got heavy fret wear ? He was looking at pic 10 on the listing.
There’s a few marks here and there but what you’d expect on a 2nd hand guitar.

No then. Imagine if you made a profit…
I still half fancy a HSS strat myself to be honest, or even a normal one. They’ve been everywhere is music to their credit.
Its against my ethics, but I love what Gilmour did with it, Seymour Duncan Hotrail I believe. Strats are made for coils in my house, in fact I just love coils. Really wanted a Jazzmaster next but they’re in vogue and the price is pumped, so looking at Jags. The short scale length will be a challenge but should prove rewarding…bet my bends go over for a while. A tempter:
I bought a Jaguar years ago. I had my money set aside to buy my proper guitar after years of playing a cheap Mexican Telecaster. I was going to get a proper US Tele, but on a whim went for a Jag.
Worst mistake I ever made. Should have stuck to my guns a bought the Tele.
What went wrong? Im interested to know…I have a Tele, but really fancied a Jazzmaster for the uprated coils. Jaguars are supposed to be good for rhythm really, they bounce well between the strings in chords, and I suppose must be a thinner tone? Ideal for raking and trilling then.
I suggested a HSS Strat before. I think Walshy wants an Ibanez.
The great news is there has never been so many quality instruments brands available.
I still think he should keep his powder dry until retail opens up and he can try different Guitars in the flesh.
In his position I wouldn’t sell the Guitar at a loss until I found out what it would bring on a trade in.
I’m not taking less than £499. I’ll suffer a £50 loss and learn a lesson!!
Yeah, very thin tone. You have the pick up selectors, and then an extra switch that cuts all the bottom end out. Rarely use it, and usually play with the bridge pick up only.
Then you have the extra tone control at the top, called the rhythm circuit, but to my ears it sounds garbage. I have the volume continually down, and only use it to mimic a cut-out switch.
My main problem with it is that it needs constant continued Maintenance. The bridge rocks back and forth in its Cradle. The nuts slip all over the place and the floating tremolo means it’s continually out of tune.
Never quite taken by the look of them to be honest. Might change if I played one though.
Gilmour uses a Seymour Duncan Custom wound in the bridge but in reality that black strat is more of a partscaster now. A top notch one but in no way original. He’s changed pretty much everything on it. Neck, tuners, scratch plate, Pups, replaced and modified trem etc etc.
I watched this last night and it chimed with me a bit to be honest. Here we have a breakdown of the solo to Another Brick in the Wall pt 2. The original was played on a Les Paul with P90’s. Here its played on a Tele and it would take some going to hear the difference. Even then the difference is more about the individual nuances between the two different guitarists, more than the gear.
So I’m leaning more and more towards making sure a guitar feels right in the hands before anything else. Then perhaps look at the pickups etc. but purely from a subtle flavour type thing.
