Be interesting if he’s up for bit part role next year after playing so much this year. Might have a taste for it and ask for another loan to continue to get game time, even if he’s good enough to get spot minutes next year. He looks much bigger in all the highlights, not so much like a boy playing with men. Personally hope he stays next year, we could have used him this year.
He will basically need to perform better than Brewster did with his bit part.
He already has. I think he would have been above Shaqiri and Origi in the pecking order if he hadn’t gone on loan this season.
Are you suggesting we’ll only finish 3rd in our champions league group next season and be put into the later rounds of the Europa League?
No, in case wemight miss top4, but now with the Supa League who knows what’s going to happen.
I absolutely love this guy, I hope he comes a club regular in the years ahead if we have any.
Such an excellent gesture and so much maturity given his age. Class!
One of those players who joins who says he is a fan who genuinely is.
For somebody so young this is top class.
Not only do I hope he is a future player for us but the guy is demonstrating maturity and leadership to be a future captain.
Well done Harvey
Probably helps he has had Klopp and Mowbray and Critchley as managers all who are grounded and well balanced and who don’t shout their mouth about players.
I hope we have Harvey back next season and gets more mentorship under Klopp.
What a top gesture for a kid his age.
Reminds me of Ryan Kent walking into a press conference at Rangers and first thing he did was ask if anyone from the s*n was present, when one of the journos said he was, Kent told him to leave and wouldn’t start untill the guy left the room. Some players just get the club.
I never knew that about Kent.
Is there a link to that interview
Or (also) clever PR people around them.
Been searching for a video of it, not been able to find one.
I remember it was a fairly well discussed thing on TIA at the time
It wasn’t Kent it was the Fullback, Connor Randall I believe. He was on loan at the time in Scotland.
Ah, that would explain why I can’t find any video links for it
