Right so he didn’t even celebrate with it, he did pick It though and the image does look like a gesture to the crowd.
Considering it’s the same FA who lost all control of Wembley last summer I’d be a bit baffled to receive this, also why do we even need to know? What’s the point in them telling us that they want to know Harvey Elliott’s opinion on what happened.
It may look like he’s yelling in celebration but actually he’s angry that as he was about to safely dispose of a couple of flares, a Chelsea player came along and nicked the one from his left hand. Probably to throw in the face of a disabled jewish child of ethnic minority background. That’s what they do.
I have the feeling that if Divock and Taki leave in the summer and Bobby, Sadio and Mo are still here next season I expect us not to bring in another attacker but Harvey to be used occasionally in attack.
We’ll see. Much like the conversation about Jones the other day you can see an Iniesta like development for him, dropping back and using his ability on the ball to run the midfield. You can see a role for him similar to the one (shitbag) Silva has had for City the past few years where he flits back and forth between the two roles, but that is a difficult thing for a young player to manage, especially if you’re essentially trying to teach him a new role (midfield).
Even without Taki and Origi, we would still have Mo, Bobby,Mané, Diaz and Jota plus hopefully continuing to bring Gordon through on occasion.
That should be more than enough. Elliott may play there now and again if injuries hit, but it may also depend on which midfielder we bring in (if we do buy another). A Nkunku midfielder could be used as a 6th choice attacker but if we go for a Tchouameni midfielder we will possibly need Harvey covering for Salah now and again.
And there’s a big lack of self awareness here given his history. A kid who berates his girlfriend for following his teammates on social media should probably not pat himself on the back for “treating girls right”.
Yeah but Harvey Elliot should not be doing social media except in an official/charity fashion. The club need to get him to shut that shite out pronto. He’s already made several unhelpful comments - in light of his injury for one which made it hard for Klopp etc to complain about protecting our players and winding up ManU is not something out players need to do via social media. He’s just making a massive target for himself when he should be trying to keep his head down and develop his game.
What? You mean the accusations Greenwood is facing - it wouldn’t surprise you one bit if Elliot did that?!? It would surprise me if any PL footballer would do such a thing.
Yeah, of course, what I meant is that there are kids who are apparently little angels or just ordinary with the odd thing here and there, but capable of doing stupid/violent stuff from time to time. Everywhere.
