I think they are both growing into great replacements for Thiago and Henderson… Elliot reminds me so much of Thiago, plays of either foot, disgustingly good vision and execution of passing, supreme close control and technical skill etc. Jones is turning into a Hendo style of very solid midfielder who retains the ball, keeps the temp ticking over, but also can dribble out of trouble and has a good shot on him.
Whilst there are differences between the players clearly and Elliot and Jones will add their own flair I can see how they could fit either side of a strong no.6 in a very balanced midfield 3 for us.
Really exciting to have them both here.
P.s. As this is the Elliot thread that no look pass which split about 5 Southampton players was filthy. He also did a Thiago esk right to left pin point pass to Kostas off his left foot, blew my mind.

Not a bad call made about introducing Elliott given the fatigue of our fullbacks 
If this reaches his potential he will be one of the best in the league. Huge natural talent and confidence, just needs to learn the game.
