Very unfortunate loan to an epl side that after 3 league matches haven’t scored a goal.
I wish him luck and hope he can help change the clubs fortunes. I do have big doubts though, it’s going to be tough!
All the best, Harvey! Stay fit and show them what you’re worth, and how wrong they were to let you go. Hopefully you come back one day, as you deserve.

Wasn’t aware this particular clause was inserted into the deal We might see him back at Anfield next season
Elliott breaks silence on Liverpool exit
Liverpool also confirmed an ongoing transfer on deadline day as midfielder Harvey Elliott sealed an exit to Aston Villa, signing on loan with an obligation to buy next year.
With the player desperate for regular game time, he’s opted to join Unai Emery’s men, who must pay £35m for him next summer if he makes a certain amount of appearances.
Liverpool have a sell-on and buy-back clause included in the deal but for now it seems like goodbye - and Elliott was keen to make his feelings clear on the club as he drew a line under his time at Anfield.
Weird decision to go through the keeper’s legs with his right, out of all the options available. I don’t think he even aimed for it though.

9 games. 2 starts. 171 minutes.
Unused sub again today. Emery loves him.
Missed completely that Paqueta was so close to signing for Villa. Perhaps Elliott was their (or one of) backup plan when that fell through.
He’s not even making the bench now. The longer that goes on the more the likelihood of him coming back next year.
I’d bring him back. The injuries we’re picking up, we need him.
He’ll probably be back for pre-season at most, before finding another club to join. He won’t be part of Arne’s plans.
Maybe Arne won’t be able to make plans here soon ![]()
Nah, as things stand, there’s little point bringing him back. Especially since it’s a loan with obligation to buy with conditions type of deal. And as for him at Villa, well… it’s not like they don’t have quality players in his best two positions (in the structure they normally use). Give him time, maybe he’ll earn more. They like these inside type of players and rotations in the 3 positions between the lines, they don’t play with classic wingers. But I think he will not be our “worry” anymore.
Yesterday he was barred from playing because of the loan so some mitigation, but Rodgers’ role is his obvious one and even me, a big Harvey defender, can see that is a contest he isn’t winning
