Isak is as close to a sure thing as possible when it comes to PL strikers. Ekitike is more of a gamble. Could be a Torres or a Nunez

I have seen him in 4 league matches and a couple of France U23 one of which he scored a hat trick thanks to 3 assists from Cherki. He can score goals and he can dribble and for his size he does look ok on the ball and he is very similar to Isak. I can see Salah and Wirtz supplying him with the bullets.
The big advantage Isak has over him is the huge PL experience.

Think we are playing a canny game with this one.
Our preference is probably Isak,but with Toon playing hard ball and are in for Ekitike getting after him makes sense.
As has been pointed out Isak will never be as valuable again as he is at the moment, even if we went elsewhere..dunno know to who, though,if Newcastle sign Etikiti,they may likely have two quality players slightly disgruntled.
We would make either of them very gruntled.

Why would he talk to us knowing if Isak becomes available we will fuck him off?

Its as far fetched as the notion that we are waiting for an answer before we go to Plan B.
I doubt Ekitike or his club would be in talks if that was true.

A sign of how Liverpool is being ran well is how Hughes, Edwards and Slot are working in tandem with each other.
Hughes gives the final list of players to go for and negotiates at the club level for fees. Edwards thinks of the chess steps ahead to ensure it falls in favour for us like what is happening to Isak, Ekitike and Newcastle. Slot sells the club’s playing philosophy to the players.
For once, LFC is flexing its muscles hard and acting like what an honourable club should do unlike those cunts in madrid white.

Have you changed opinion about FSG?
Seems a broad set of fans are the happiest in the transfer season for a long time, but given previous statements from yourself , have you changed your view?

They’ll be pissed off soon enough. As usual with FSG, every few years we will spend big to set the team up for a 2-3 year period without significant changes.
FSG are splashing the cash - we are happy. FSG are our sugar daddies, when they don’t bestow new signings upon us we cuss them our and threaten to tell their wives.
Same old same old really.
