Definitely my favorite kind of bird.

I had my doubts, but I’m coming around now. I do like the player’s profile. It helps that he is three years younger (just turned 23 last month) than Isak (26), so he has time to develop in the right system. I hope comparisons with Isak will be based on where Isak was at the same age and what his output was. We all know he was far from a finished article at 22 and only scored 10 goals in his last season at Sociedad before moving to NUFC that summer. So for those who will compare output, please use proper context…
Maybe? In three years, he’ll be pushing 29, which is a bit out of our age profile. We also don’t know what will happen in the interim in terms of signings and such.
I agree. It would depend on the value, of course.
You are wasted in the law.
I agree he looks gangly when running but he is very strong and likely to get stronger when our fitness staff have finished with him. He is a good team player and presses well and on set pieces he is very good when defending them but it will also add another tall guy on our set pieces from corners or dead ball free kicks.
When PSG got rid of him first on loan where he struggled initially then when he signed fully his partnership with Marmoush was excellent. I honestly thought Shitty would gazump us on the advice of Marmoush.
Where would he fit in there? They have other holes they need to fill.

If this is true, that is some gumption to take charge of your own career!
It hasn’t stopped them before buying Willynily whether they wanted him or not.
Why would he do that when everything is going smoothly?
Maybe handing in a request is a way to help smooth the deal?
If he doesn’t hand in a transfer request he may be due bonuses. Since Eintracht have to pay PSG out of the proceeds, and since we haven’t yet hit the release clause - though we are bidding a good amount - this might be the player showing good will to all parties.
Eintracht don’t have to pay him the bonus and it therefore brings a deal with Liverpool a bit closer.
better than this combo I guess.
I have not seen any answer to the questions:
i think they came out later and clarified that is not the case, he jus said he want to go to LFC…
Bloody internet!
Liverpool are in advanced talks to sign Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike in a deal worth more than £70m.
Clearly a lot of groundwork has gone on behind the scenes. Good of the recruitment team sorting things out as usual. We didn’t just rock up and say “we want it done this weekend”.
This must have been in the works.
As my nickname says I’ve a softspot for Eintracht Frankfurt.
So I watch all the games they are playing, as I do with LFC.
Imagine the stress I have when both teams play at the same time.
One game on TV, one game on my tablet.
Earlier this summer I thought Etikite could be a red-player.
Now my dream comes true. Etikite reminds me on Thiery Henry and Peter Crouch, the latter only because of his long legs.
I think, we will get a good player with better teammates around him than at Frankfurt.
I’m totally convinced Hugo will be one of our better signings, at least better than Nunez.
