Considering this was a good season for them at least 7 points behind the worst Liverpool team since Rodgers or even Hodgson.
Everton’s better season in recent times and they still finished 13th. Haw.
Weren’t they three points off when they played us or could have been.
Yeah, it’s shocking how we somehow widened the gap despite such a horrid run of form.
Not able to celebrate anything?
Nope, they were able to; on many ocassions.

Winning the transfer window “trophies” a fair number of times, for one.
Winning the Merseyside Derby “Cup” sometimes. Hell, they even celebrate the draws.
Also, rejoicing like champions when they’re beaten if it results in LFC missing out on something.
I didn’t need to see Anthony Gordon with his top off this early in the morning.
Of course Everton fans will bleat and moan on any post about being harshly treated, ignoring the fact that if the punishment had been made they would have been relegated and who knows if they would have got back.
Love this. Who did you spend £35m on this summer Everton? No one
They’ll blame LFC for this, just like they do for everything else.
Well that’s handily wiped out any increased revenue from a season in their new bigger ground, excellent work by the ‘Red Cartel’ formed to keep them from progressing ![]()
I wonder if this is also the way that they are paving the way to punish City?
There is a critical difference - Everton have a stadium sponsored by a small time local law firm, Man City have the entire sovereign wealth fund of a petro state to spend on world class legal teams
And like night follows day they’re all bleating about City and Chelsea and the PL being corrupt.
Funny how times change. I remember they celebrated City winning the CL like they’d won it themselves on the likes of that cesspit WSAG.
And the same PL who only banned Richarlison after he left, allowing him to score the goals that kept them up. The same PL who stopped 777 partners from buying them and more than likely take them into oblivion.
Always someone else to blame with these horrible cunts.
Just went to read the story on the BBC site and noticed this - maybe the Everton fans have a point, definitely something a bit suspect going on with the comments section, I’ve got bad news for them if they are they hoping for some divine intervention at appeal
Anyone think this will unravel the premier league?
