Everton are working on a £5m Euro deal to sign the former Arsenal defender and midfielder Ainsley Maitland-Niles from Lyon.
Everton had agreed a £9.4m deal for Tete but Fulham are having trouble lining up a replacement and won’t sign off Tete until they do.
Tete is such a weird one.
He’s often linked with a move and generally rated, but never really plays regularly. He’s a 30-year old with around 350 senior games in his career.
Players ahead of him at Fulham and rarely makes the Dutch squad.
Maybe he has good agents.
Just one phone call and it will be sorted.

To be fair he looked ok in the World Cup so that’s probably a decent signing that’s fallen down.

Yeah, shame.
Grealish signed on loan.
So they sold Beto leaving Barry as their only striker, then Balogun failed a medical, United turned down a loan offer for Zirkzee and Tammy Abraham told them to do one.
Trust the Toffees to make our window look semi-competent.

Someone mentioned on the forum this morning the move had broken down!
You know you’re in trouble when you start comparing your transfer window with relegation dodgers.
Our window has been a fucking disaster and could have set us back years.
And he posted a comment on IG heavily criticizing Spurs for trying to make him go somewhere he didn’t want to go

his agent told him he’s got a move for him to play in Liverpool lined up. Balogun was happy with that but once he was done with the medical and entered their actual offices he started to wonder why everything was blue…
