I’ll have a bitter please...It’s the Everton thread

I do. You’re forgiven.

What gets me, is there is no counter perspective on those sites. Take the Aguero incident, putting his hand on the lineman’s shoulder.

We consider City one of our biggest rivals, yet its not faux outrage here. A few posters say there is nothing in it, or its not as bad as its being reported. Like normal people. Its stunning seeing pages and pages of tribalism on some of those other forums speaking as basically one voice.

Almost a badge of honour who hates them more.

I don’t think that Ancelotti has anything to do it. He doesn’t have form for this sort of thing.

They have played recklessly for years under different managers. It’s the atmosphere of this particular club and the toxic bitterness and jealously that permeats it that brings about their players’ thuggery in the derbies.

The kicker is that they are too stupid to realise that one of the reasons that they can’t win is precisely because they approach the games with such a twisted mindset.

I don’t get it.

A player kicks a ball while the game is stopped? Yellow card.

Players or managers get into a “fight” after HT/FT whistle, you can get a few sending offs without any problems.

A player goes to celebrate with fans in the stands? Yellow card (I’ll never know why, though).

When it’s offside, you can sometimes get 3-5 seconds before the game is finally stopped? No problems at all, a striker can go and try to score.

Which means you can obviously knock someone out like Mike Tyson and it’s the players’ fault that they didn’t sense the offside flag with some sort of sixth sense.

Pickford got to the ball first, but that was a clear red. They always talk about the way, the intensity, the force, how your foot is placed, is it two-footed, etc. I remember a lot of red cards I didn’t agree with that had a bit of follow through, which seemed more unlucky to me. I think Chiesa got a straight red last night for Juve which looked harsh to me (only saw it once) compared with Pickford’s force yesterday. My first thought was what the hell is he doing there. It’s a stupid move, he’s too rash.

I’m actually guilty before I always focus more on our perfomance and the team’s/players’ mistakes rather than ref’s decisions. But this yesterday was laughable how it went against us. I don’t have faith in the current state of things.

I don’t buy that at all. As he has gone from coaching title contending teams to coaching dark horses and outsiders his tactics to level the playing field have changed as well. Napoli were cunts on the field as well; snide tackles, cry arse fannying when tackled and every now and then a real bruiser that took out a player Against his teams alone in the past two years we have had one CB out for months, another who could possibly be ruled out for even longer than that and midfielder who could be injured for an extended period as well.

Make no mistake, Ancelloti knows exactly what he’s doing. He is brilliant manager, no doubt, but lets not mistake that for being Snow White.

Most Italian and latin teams in general play like this though. I don’t believe that he specifically instructed his players to assault ours.

Also, why a red card missed can’t be corrected during half time or whenever. If that moment is gone, that’s it? You still have ample time to correct it and with the help of VAR and stuff decisions are now overridden after minutes. If this was actually a miss by VAR, they would have definitely known by half time. Shouldn’t there be a way to atleast make it count even for 45 minutes of the game fwiw?

There needs to be an appeal sort of system where captains can call for some limited number of decisions during the game. Not sure if it would work but that’s one way to bring the referees know what decisions look fcked which they have obviously missed out.

I am sorry but you are wasting your time looking for solutions to yesterday’s aberrations every decision they took was deliberate the ref looking the other way for every Everton infringement and leaving it to the baldy coot to take the decisions out of his hands I honestly thought Oliver was a decent ref but after yesterday I think he should be banned to ref in the 2nd division and for him to tear that FIFA badge because he usurped it.

Seeing as this is clearly about me then I’ll respond.

I haven’t got a ‘visceral hatred’ of every club apart from Liverpool at all. Far from it. Just those that deserve it. Let’s take Real Madrid for example. I don’t hate them at all. I fucking hate Ramos though and everything I said about that cunt after Kiev still stands. I’d love to see someone do him good and proper because he’s spent his whole fucking career doing just that to others. In the final he literally assaulted 2 of our players and got off scot free. His actions had more effect on the final result than anything Bale did. He pulled a shithouse move on Salah and gave our goalkeeper concussion as well as virtually ending his career at the top level. So yeah, fuck him, I’ll raise a glass to the fella who finishes him.
Believe it or not I’m a pretty friendly and level-headed bloke. I don’t actually hate Manchester United the football club, but I hate their fucking scum supporters for everything they’ve sang and said about my city and it’s people over the last 40 years. It’s more or less a one way street, I don’t have the same bitterness and obsession about their city as they have for mine. City fans have joined in now they think they’re relevant, the difference being I hate their corrupt, disgusting club as well as them.
I’ve worked with a fair sized number of mancs for the last 8 years and to a man they have an obsessional hatred of Liverpool and everything connected to it. I didn’t really have any deep-rooted dislike of Manchester or mancs in general until I started to spend time with them but I do now, they are fucking horrible, opinionated, openly racist bigots and again,it’s their bigotry, spite and animosity that has developed and moulded my hatred for them.
Same with the Ev. I’ll say it to anyone, just try living amongst these horrible cunts for any length of time and you’ll find out what it’s like. Again, it’s been a one-way street. Make no mistake they are to blame 100% for the ill-feeling between the 2 fan bases. I can’t bear to speak to any of them about football, otherwise decent scouse lads who are bitter, twisted, bile-filled cunts the moment LFC is mentioned.
I’ve got no interest in being the ‘better man’ anymore. It’s gone way beyond that. But I’ve only got hatred for those that deserve it, and those I’ve mentioned deserve it in spades. It’s all through life-experience and it doesn’t mean I’ve got a chip on my shoulder as I’ve been accused of on here before.
So yeah, I’ll laugh my fucking socks off if Pickford breaks his arm or Richarlison gets put out the game for 8 months because they’re a pair of cunts and they’ll deserve it, in my opinion. If people think I’m a twat for saying it I couldn’t care less.

The key being Napoli.

They have always been a bunch of horrible, vile, nasty cunts.

I’ve nothing to add to that. I think you said everything that needs to be said.

Well to be fair, if I was an Everton fan, I’d probably give him MoM too. If you take the VVD incident aside, he made several outstanding saves which kept them in the game when they were one goal down. He was definitely one of their most decisive players.

Agreed that he made some very good and very uncharacteristic saves. But a part of me is saying that they voted for his tackle on VVD.

I almost never take a look at RAWK, but isn’t this forum renowned for it’s tribalism and intolerance to alternative views? Genuine question here.

If they hadn’t botched the Mane offside call, Pickford wouldn’t be man of the match for his saves. He botched the save on Hendo’s goal. He would only be man of the match for manslaughter.

Ancellotti is far too strong and good a manager for this to have happened without his involvement.

Do I think he instructed Pickford to scissor down VVD, probably not, but do I think attrition and dark arts were part of his game plan, absolutely.

Again, he’s just far too good a manager for this to have happened on his watch without his hand being in it.

Pickford has at least been exposed as a useless jittery fucking clown now and i fancy it’ll get worse for the rancid little cunt.
