The players have thrown him under the bus, and if the club had any sense of morals, they would have sold the entire playing squad and build a 24ct gold statue of Rafa purely for putting up with the stentch that eminates from that side Stanley Park

Stupid by Rafa to sign for them in the first place.
Did it to be closer to his family - understand that.
Did it for the money - no problem with that.
But it never would had worked out for him as their manager. Not in a million years.

On the other hand though he may just have earned yet another massive bundle for 6 months of work getting to be at home…
Anyway, happy for that sad sack of shite to be relegated now. Main reason I felt otherwise before was that he’s there, but now…
I feel for him, but what did he expect? It’s a cursed job even with the players and supporters on side; this was essentially written without.
They sold Digne, allowed Rafa to take the blame, then sacked him a week or so later. Moshiri probably thinks he’s pretty slick, but he isn’t - how much has he dumped on compo in the last six years? He’s a grifter - he’s just not very good at it, and no manager is taking his club anywhere of note.
Interesting (or concerning) to see now how deep Staveley’s crush on Rafa really goes.
Who can they even get? Need someone to put some discipline back into the side. Exactly what Rafa was once good at. I mean, you know, there’s Allardyce. 
Rooney or Lampard, I’d bet.

Thanks Rafa , that was a good job ruining Everton even more than before! 
It was good to hear the Rafa chants at Anfield today. He’s one of ours, and he knows it. His short stint at Everton won’t change this.

I was looking forward to seeing Rafa and Stevie at Goodison next week. That would’ve really pissed their fans off, a toxic atmosphere.

Teams behind Everton will definitely get some points next week.
If they don’t beat Villa on Saturday I can clearly see them going for Fat Sam until the end of the season.
And so would I if I was in their position…the 2 Sams rescued them once before.
But I doubt they will call them this time.
