I’ll have a bitter please...It’s the Everton thread

Considering the guy is of a similar age to me (slightly younger) and how bitter their fan base was as kids I bet it was the dream for him.

I actually don’t want them to go down, it’ll make the PL less interesting to not have a derby.

Having said that I still cannot see where another point is coming from for them.

I’d rather see two strong teams from Liverpool than from Manchester.

I’d rather not have the injuries that follow every derby match.

Hahaha saw the result earlier and just saw the scorer.

Fucking Epic.

Carlsberg stuff

This is very much my feeling. Having a laugh at them struggling is one thing but if they are relegated it becomes little more than the rivalry with Tranmere.

If Carlsberg did just fucking deserts

A year or 2 down there I’d be happy with it.

Yeh, so would I and then they drop further down. That would be great.

Manchester only have one. Who’s the other?

I don’t actually think they will go down, like a cockroach they seem to survive anything.

I said Newcastle were 100% down back in November so I’ll keep my mouth shut with these and just say Que Sera, Sera.

two of the three games that they realistically have a chance are away ones. They need 6 points to be safe but where do they get those 6 points from ?

Most Everton forum posters have been writing off their away games and saying that the Woodson factor will help keep them up. After yesterday you can only say that their home form is just as bad as their away form

Just looking through their remaining fixtures and they’re at home to Manchester United on 9th April, in the lunchtime kick off.

I always thought that there were no home games in Liverpool on Grand National day, due to policing requirements.

Rafa’s got them 19 points after 19 games. Fwank has got them 3 points in 7 games.

But still the shites that they have for a fanbase feel that Rafa’s got them relegated. Rafa would probably have kept them safe from relegation by now.

There was a discussion about this last year too.
There were no fans in for our home game against Villa on April 10th so naturally enough it wasn’t policed and one of the LFC podcasts discussed whether this had happened before or would be a precedent.

Newcastle (H) , Watford (A) , West Ham (A) , Man Utd (H) , Crystal Palace (H) , Liverpool (A) , Chelsea (H) , Leicester (A) , Brentford (H) . Arsenal (A).

The Manures can do them a favour but leaving them and Brentford to some extent , I don’t see any other home game that they have a chance of picking points. Saudcastle has been on a very good run of form an they should get away with a win there. Chelsea has way too much quality for Everton to really trouble them plus they will play needing a point to prove. Also the Brentford game might not even matter if they continue sliding down.

There are two more games to follow for Everton that have to be fitted in somewhere before GW38. A Home game against Leicester and a away at Burnley. Brendan probably has gotten a tune out of this Leicester Side and that’s not going to be an easy outing. Burnley away is probably a win for Dyche’s guys. They aren’t an easy side to play and Dyche’s got them well tuned for a scrap.
