You’re fucking shite you lad…
Given Everton’s best run in recent years was when they were not subject to abuse from the fans every time they set foot on the pitch, I can’t see how this helps.

Way to keep more pressure on the players.
What loophole though? I don’t think there’s much difference in PAYE and dividend tax any more once you get over a certain income? There will be corporation tax to pay on the Ltd Co’s profits too I would have thought?
They were 2-1 up in that with 12 mins left
Hopefully the comedy continues I might watch if Amazon offer me a free trial
You’re not alone in that. I come from a long line of Everton Brow-dwelling Blues on my dad’s side. It seems that being brought up away from that part of the city had a positive effect on me!
Also don’t want to see another northern club go down and replaced by yet another London / southern club, which would be a sad reflection of the way England’s economy is these days.
Whilst I broadly agree with the sentiment, I’d quite happily see one (or, preferably, both) of the Manchester clubs go down… never to be seen in the top division again.
Likelihood is Burnley go down otherwise (maybe Watford)
Maybe just cheer on Blackburn and Huddersfield as a Lancastrian it’s odd but I feel Yorkshire should have more top division clubs.
It’s no coincidence, the Liver Building has been put up for sale this week, asking price is £90 million. Loss of the Usminov money is starting to bite maybe?
Bloody Hell, Everton actually beat the Barcodes. Apparently they can’t string two passes together until they’re down to 10 men.
In other news, Hell freezes over…
Cant believe those bastards scored in the 99th minute.
All because of that stupid cunt with the oil.
Like fuck am I saving oil now.
Well he has picked up 3.
The only other game they can win here in my opinion is Burnley.
We need Dyche to play a blinder to pull them back into it.
3 more points for these twats and I fear they will be safe
7 and their safe.
Although Everton somehow managed to get three points last night, the reality is, they were absolutely shite last night. Newcastle only have themselves to blame, they were easily the better of the two sides, but have no quality forwards. As for Everton, there was a lot of running about and players throwing themselves to the ground, feigning injury, trying to show the fans how committed they are to the cause. The way Richarlison walked off the pitch, while milking the applause, was comical.
No doubt, Everton fans will believe they’re now safe and will be back challenging for the Premier League title next season. Who knows, they might even win it again, by September.
They’re basically doing what they do every season to stay up, beating their fellow bottom-feeders at home. Burnley, Norwich, Southampton, Leeds, Newcastle…it’s been their MO for years and years.
They’re still in the shit but I’ve long given up hope of these fucking turds ever being relegated, there’s always something bizarre that comes to their rescue. Segers in '94, the Bolton goal against them that wasn’t given a few years later which ultimately relegated Bolton and not them, who knows what would have happened last night if that soft twat hadn’t disrupted the game.
I’ll say one thing for them though. It takes some doing to have the 2 most vile, obnoxious, cheating fucking shithouses in the same team but these have done it comfortably. And that doesn’t include Holgate.
Yeh, I’d completely forgotten about that. I’m not giving up yet, they’ve got a few more defeats coming their way.
Agree. I honestly believe Burnley are the better side. I look at Everton and see no shape, no real plan on the pitch or any indication of how they are trying to play the game. Newcastle were definitely better.
At least with Burnley you know the plan, tactics etc.
From a footballing perspective I honestly have a load more respect for Burnley.
City’s next league game is against Burnley away. So Everton winning last night might work in our favour. Burnley need points to stay in touch with the teams around them so hopefully that will transpire to an extra motivated performance v City.
