I said I thought 35 would be enough.
The everton watford game is immaterial now even if they win that. Its not a 6 pointer anymore. They need to get 2 wins atleast in their other 5 matches and hope for burnley and leeds to slip.

Nah , Leeds will be fine. Everton need to manage 3 wins in 6 matches atleast to be safe. Where are they getting those 3 wins ?

Looks tough for Leeds though too. They play Arsenal, then Chelsea after today. Last two games are Brighton and Brentford. Maybe a chance for some points there maybe although I’d really like them to pull a rabbit out the hat against City this evening.
3 wins and 2 draws out of their last 5. 40 points to be the benchmark for safety. I don’t see any team getting relegated after getting 40 points (While it’s theoretically possible). 6 points in their last 5 games ought to be enough to see them through)
and Everton need 3 wins in 6 games to have a chance of being safe. Having games in hand at this point only adds to the pressure. Especially if they don’t win against Chelsea. Even a draw isn’t good enough.
