I’ll have a bitter please...It’s the Everton thread

That’s not quite correct.
The Bitters should be very much higher up the list considering the number of Transfer Windows they’ve handily won. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Wait so Everton buy Richarlison from Watford for £41mil are selling him to Tottenham for £50mil making a £9mil profit until they have to give Watford 10% of the fee which is £5mil making it

Watford total fee received: £46mil
Everton total fee received: £46mil

Had off there:joy::joy:

In reality, making a profit on the fee is not really of much of a relevance. Everton bought him, he’s given them 4 years of service and he has two years to run on his contract. Everton know he’s better than their level and it would be daft to force him to stay. He clearly wants the move. We let GIni go for free, paid £35m for him - does that mean we were mugged off and should be laughed at, because £46m is better than zero.

In short - it’s a good deal for Everton to get that fee.

We paid 23m for Wijnaldum, not 35m… but your overall point is correct.

It’s when they do a Pogba (the total sum of fuck all), Richarlison did at least contribute enough to keep them up say last year. That was worth a fair bit considering how much of a state they are in.

If they had gone down I’d have predicted another relegation.

No it isn’t but they paid £46m for him. £46m for THAT! :astonished: that is mental.

They’ve done well to get the fee back.

So Spurs paid £50m for THAT! :astonished:

Does that include inflation adjustments? :stuck_out_tongue:

Just dawned on me that Richarlison with 2 years on his contract is worth more than Mane with one year.

The world has gone mad.

spurs are selling them winks and dele? so they’ve given everton £50m but are going to get that money back and get rid of two shitbags and just have one sulky m’fckr?

Everton lose their best player. seems like the everton way!

Just hope they sell calvert lewin and we can watch em get relegated.

Is this actually happening?

i do believe so but everton needed to sell so they can buy due to FFP and the state of their finances. Things can change but i don’t see dele and winks being at spurs next season.

Just surprised by the Delle Ali link considering he offered them nothing last year.

Seems like a daft decision.

Perhaps they were committed to buying him as part of the deal they made to bring him in?

@Noo_Noo @redfanman @cynicaloldgit seems i made a rare mistake. he is already an everton player. he joined on a free transfer apparently and not a loan deal in January.

Not sure it makes the business any better.

EDIT: They agreed to pay his 100k per week wages and after 20 appearances they pay spurs £10 million
EDIT 2: They have to pay £30m more if he reaches 80 appearances

So in total it could become £40million - which would mean they sold Richarlison for next to nothing!
