Tbf, at the time that person started going they were very successful. You will have seen alot of comments of the same ilk from Liverpool fans at various stages in the past three decades.
I know two lads* in my class who swapped over from Man Utd to Everton in 1995 due to that cup win. Shows how big the cup still was probably and also how there had been a fair bit of hope at the time.
I believe it’s the last time they out did us, even in 2005 when they finished ahead of us we went and did one better with the CL 
*they weren’t very pleasant so I hope they’ve enjoyed that ever since, I did have a friend who swapped to Blackburn in 1995 and he actually stuck with them. That season was kind of seen as the end of a short dominance of Man Utd, if only.

I was reading yesterday that they’re trying to offload Dele already.
Why they even sign him. Was quite obvious where he was going in his career. Surely he’s championship material now for sure. Rashford to be joining him soon in the peaked at 20 category

Players are responsible for their own shit, but the drop off under Mourinho was precipitous and you can understand a player like him, who had so much so soon, falling out love with the game going through that

Yeah, I read the various clauses that add up to 40 million are all very reasonable to think he’ll achieve. So if after half a season they’ve looked at him and thought it isnt working out they need to get rid otherwise theyre going to end up paying a decent amount of money for a “free transfer” who produces F all.
