I was on the Mersey ferry when I was in Liverpool with my son a couple of weeks ago. It’s more of a tourist thing these days so they have a guided tour of the river.
When they passed the site of the new Everton stadium (The Pornhub or whatever it’s going to be called) the guide mentioned that Everton would be playing there from the start of the 2024 season.
I actually said out loud, “Well that’s bloody optimistic!”
Seemed to cause a good chuckle on the boat.
