Coady and Tarkowski look awful on three of those goals
This would be funny if I didn’t know that Brighton had scored three at Anfield and that we’ve beaten them only once in past five matches, I think. That said, the only saving grace of this season might be Everton’s relegation. I’d rather have Brighton as our bogey side than Everton or WBA.

In what sense are Everton a bogey side for us? We’ve lost once in about 10 years. Most seasons they are guaranteed points, especially at home.

I’m not sure he means to say Everton are a bogey side, only that he prefers Brighton being one (if we are to have them).
Out of interest how many games have we drawn with Everton during that period?
Pickford cleaning out one of his own players there while being miles away from the ball / attacker.

Yup that’s what I was thinking 
They are, simply put, thugs (no wonder no match has that many red cards). They play out of their skins against us (and rarely gain points against our rivals but that’s me being a sore loser). We won there twice since 2012 if I’m not mistaken. That’s bogey side in my book. Brighton do their best to play us off the park when we face them and not just sit back and wait for set pieces or long balls.

Absolutely.
We’d be able to come again next season, whilst Everton stay in the championship for the next decade & we’d take the upmost pleasure from that.
And of course you were only talking about qualification to CL through the league so it’s all good.
