They can do the hardwork , get out of relegation and still get points deducted and then get screwed over. The fume then will be immense

I 'm not convinced they can escape relegation.

They were absolute dire and only got a draw last night against a Leicester team that many think are doomed for relegation themselves, so how can these cunts think they will survive?

They will and have a victory parade end of season again.

There are 3 teams one point ahead of them with 4 games left. They have to get better results than at least two of them. I can’t honestly see them doing that if they can’t beat fellow strugglers. They have Brighton next week and I can only see that denting their goal difference. Then it’s City at home which, if Everton are their usual peverse selves, is the one game that they win. Wolves and Bournemouth are the last two.

I’m seeing quite a few of their fans saying that relegation is probably their best bet. They do have a manager that is capable of getting them back up. They really should have appointed him last summer.

I can see Brighton slipping up , they’ve got games thick and fast coming up now and a slip up against either of Everton or Man Utd looks likely as they try to push for 5th/6th.

Not the easiest end to the season for Brighton with City , Aston Villa to follow after these

The easiest games are Saints and Everton.

Let Brighton do a number on United first to help us close the gap down. After that , I really dont care what happens in the remaining matches but it’s likely they’ll slip up atleast twice post United match

I can’t see them getting anything at Brighton

Leeds getting Allardyce back might get a new manager bounce. Even if only for 2 games

Be enough

Other teams having more goals in them might mean the end for Everton. They look so light in attack and midfield. And when they push numbers forward to try and increase the chances for goals, they naturally get exposed more. Horrible squad management by Everton in last years. I don’t want them to go down, but objectivelly, they actually deserve such a slap and wake up call.

DCL does give their attack a bit more bite though. Remains to be seen if he can stay fit for what’s an inhuman number of matches remaining in this campaign.

He’s been a doubt for too long now, it’s not yesterday’s news. I don’t know how much of it is finance and how much just bad squad construction, probably a mixture of both. They had more sensible transfers all the way back under Moyes when they didn’t have much, but squeezed what they could from every penny.

Rot set in after Moyes left. They did do a couple of good transfers along the way like Lukaku etc though. But their transfer strategy has been dire since then

They’ll get out of it from here. Showed enough fight yesterday to demonstrate they haven’t given up whereas Forest and Leeds seem to be dropping like stones.

Pretty much relying on Forest beating Southampton or Leeds getting something from a trip to West Ham because I see Everton getting 2-4 points from their last two.

Leicester will 100% beat us to secure their survival.

Don’t see that happening especially if Brighton beat man utd.

Liverpool have shown that in the past few seasons that they are the only other club (city excluded) who can make up a big winning run come end of season.

While we’ve been patchy , the Leicester defense isn’t really all that much. Give the Liverpool guys a target to play for and we should roll Leicester over quickly.

The bargain bin version of Rodgers era Sturridge. That’s DCL.

I thought they played alright last night. Gave away a couple of gifts but they had the better chances and were the better team overall. If Dyche pulls his head out of the sand and drops Michael Keane who has been absolutely terrible since getting back into the team then they have a chance.

Between them and Forest for me, Southampton surely are gone and Leeds just look terrible all over the pitch. There’s a decent chance Forest could be 4 points ahead of them with 3 games left and it will be tough for them to overcome that.

DCL is not in the same class as Sturridge. Nowhere near it.
