Their academy has enough prospects to let them survive in the championship even if they did do a full clear out to abide by the FFP rules.
In a way , this would be better for Everton in the long run , even if they get relegated from the championship. Do a complete overhaul of the club , reset expectations and then compete to get back to the premier league with a less of a “not Liverpool FC” mindset that has taken them over.
This is all just a hypothetical scenario. I still believe that they’ll fluke their way out to survival.
It’s unfair on the club’s who got relegated despite Everton flouting the PL FFP rules. But then look at the other blueshite around in Chelsea , Man City
Bournemouth result might be irrelevant. Especially if they Lose or draw the Leicester match. They require 8/15 points to survive. Question is who they get it from.
Since the start of the PL at one time or another I’ve supported Arsenal, Man U, Chelsea, Man city and probably Newcastle soon so it’s one of the things that makes relegation easier to take.
