Yeah one of those million rumours that didn’t happen.
I have mentioned it before but my niece is married to a Burnley player and he said that Dyche lost the dressing room at Burnley and was particularly bad in regards to the treatment of young players

Dyche froze him out and then refused to let him leave earlier.
Weird situation, because by Everton standards he was not a poor performer, and more importantly, he was cheap. At £1.3M/year, not easy to replace like-for-like.
