I’ll have a bitter please...It’s the Everton thread

That would be Everton’s trophy room.

Surprised we didn’t lose the UNESCO status when we did those redevelopments to the front. A lot of those new buildings look absolutely shite.

LFC would disagree with you…50%, so you’re at most only half right. :grinning:

Then again, the bitters would claim even a tiny sliver of anything as a major trophy, so you could also be totally wrong.

To be fair you have to win one of the big prizes to compete for those trophies or at least come second.

8th doesn’t cut it.

8th is everton’s target for a successful season. And they’ve been dominating in that for quite a while.

The way things are unravelling, pretty soon they will count their kitchen silvers as trophies.

Yeah, look at some of the clubs who have won English silverware since the last Everton trophy. FA Cup: Portsmouth, Wigan, Leicester. EFL Cup: Villa, Blackburn, Middlesbrough, Leicester, Swansea, Birmingham City. Interesting how Leicester City has won all three English trophies since Everton last hoisted a cup.

We need to ask ourselves…
Just what is the point of Everton

That’s what I say about Tom Davies. Just what is the point of him?

Everyone needs some club to laugh at.

So which club Everton laugh at???

Liverpool Echo is quoting Balague. He says Usminov is pushing for Rafa to be appointed. I’ve always suspected, Moshiri is just a front man for Usminov.

Moshiri and Usmanov are thick as thieves.

They are “longstanding business partners”, previously joint owners of Red and White Holdings which had a significant stake in the arse. In 2016 Moshiri sold his shares in Red and White Holdings to Usmanov to fund his takeover of the blueshite.

Moshiri is currently chairman of USM Holdings, a company owned by Usmanov.

USM sponsors the blueshite’s training gound (amongst several other sponsorship deals it has with the blueshite) and paid £30m up front for an exclusive option on naming rights for their (nonexistent) new stadium.

Of course Usmanov is pulling Moshiri’s strings.

I knew that Usmanov had previously been involved with the arse, but never knew that Moshiri was also one of the owners.

But isn’t he just a figurehead and Moshiri & Usmanov doing the actual bidding? Anyway, thanks for the heads up.
