I’ll have a bitter please...It’s the Everton thread

Hanging those flags next to a food bank when Rafa has been quite generous in the past to the Hillsborough families and by association the City of Liverpool I find very very distasteful

They do, but they have different understanding of what makes a legend - Funes Mori, Pickford, Richarlison…

just been reading that UNESCO are likely to strip Liverpool of World Heritage Status, mainly because of the continued development of the waterfront. Saying the development of Bramley Moore dock is the final straw.
This could well be the get-out the blueshite need, backtrack on building it and an excuse that absolves them of all blame.

Now, now. Aren’t you the one underestimating the bitters?
Only double? The past season, they did much much better than Cheaty.
They won their Quadruple. The trophies you mentioned plus the Evertenth Cup and the Thuggery Shield.

Don’t forget to add on the trophy for failing to get into Europe for the the Zillionth time…!

No, the bitters don’t fail.
They succeeded…in not getting into Europe for the the Zillionth time…! :grinning:

Bit weird isn’t Bramley dock a fair bit of distance from the Graces and Albert Dock?

Wouldn’t work for them as Ricky Tomlinson is a red isn’t he.

It is the fact they plan to fill in a Victorian dock, UNESCO have said it is totally unacceptable.

won’t the benefits of having the stadium and the other development in parallel to having the area around the stadiums outweigh the cons.

:joy:

I don’t think it works like that. I think UNESCO are more concerned about preserving what’s already there. Buildings and places of historical interest etc.
